Studio 1525 is the working name for the base of operation of a multicultural network of artists in Chicago called the Roots Rockers Club. In our apartment building, located at 1525 W 17th Street in Pilsen, we’ve developed a fully functioning pottery studio through collaboration with our landlord. We also maintain in our building facilities for painting and crocheting; musicians from all over Chicago meet here regularly to play and practice reggae music that is performed at different venues around the city. Resident artist Liza is our champion culinary artist. This site is maintained by Adam and Liza, two of the original three founders of Studio 1525.
